BLACK DRAGONFIGHTING SOCIETY

How to begin

TRAIN UNDER THIS LINEAGE

Kōga-ryū Ninjutsu is taught here as it was transmitted: from Soke Hanshi Stoffel van Vuuren to his son, Dai Soke Shihan Jacques van Vuuren — Sensei Dai — and onward through the sensei of the Black Dragon Society.

Who teaches

SENSEI DAI

Sensei Dai carries the way his father held: the shadow trained first, the heart tested inside it. What his father transmitted was never only fighting — it was a method for becoming someone the art can safely be given to.

Other sensei of the house hold their own dojos and teach the same transmission under the same custody. A student may begin at any seat.

What this asks of you

THE PRICE

Attendance you keep when it is inconvenient. Correction you accept without arguing. Restraint outside the dojo, which is harder than anything inside it.

There is no fast route, no purchased rank, and no grading given for enthusiasm. Rank here is a record of what you can do and what you have been trusted with.

The path

WHITE TO BLACK

White

Structure and honesty. Falling, footwork, breath, the first kata. You learn to be corrected.

Green

Timing and distance. Contact begins in earnest, and with it the discipline of restraint.

Blue

Strategy. Weapons introduced, terrain and deception studied, awareness trained under pressure.

Brown

Responsibility. You begin to teach beneath you, and your errors stop being only your own.

Black

Custody. The art is held in trust: carried without ego, transmitted without performance.

A few, over a lifetime, are turned toward the light — the way of 龍 Lòng.
